The Regimental Newsletter

Hi, all
What a lovely weekend we had at Alnwick castle: good skirmishes on both days, a huge beer tent, music on 3 nights and weather you could only wish for. My thanks to Blackwell’s for putting on an event in such a great location. Having spent over £300 on fuel, I can understand why many did not make it; that said, Lunsford’s attended in reasonable numbers and a good time was had by all. Next up is Chippenham Major next weekend (warning order Attached). On the Sunday morning, 9.00 we will have Council of War elections; John Newton is standing and needs your support so please take the time to vote. Following that, there will be the KA AGM; these will all be held at our party tent: due to camp site size other regiments are being encouraged not to take theirs. We will be having our AGM before Lunsford stew on Saturday 5.45 where I will be retiring as Lunsford CO and handing back the regiment to Janine, to whom I am sure you will give your full support, as you were kind enough to have given it to me in my time in charge. My thanks to Lynne who has again kindly offered to make one of her excellent stews. My thanks to all who load and unload the equipment for each event; we would be lost without you! Archie Please note that the warning order for Chippenham is on the STL Facebook page.
